SHIMA SEIKI to Hold Private Show in Korea

Leading Japanese computerized flat knitting machine manufacturer SHIMA SEIKI MFG., LTD., together with its Korean subsidiary SHIMA SEIKI KOREA INC., will hold a private exhibition in its office in Seoul, Korea later this month.

SHIMA SEIKI will provide guests with the opportunity to examine its latest lineup of computerized flat knitting machines, from a new version of its flagship MACH2X series WHOLEGARMENT knitting machine with SlideNeedles mounted on four needlebeds to the compact SWG-N2 series WHOLEGARMENT knitting machine with capability for industrial textiles, the SRY183LP with loop pressers that produce unique knitwear with woven textures, as well as the SSR workhorse shaping machine.

Demonstrations will also be performed on SHIMA SEIKI's SDS-ONE APEX3 3D design system that is at the core of the company's "Total Fashion System" concept. With comprehensive support of all aspects throughout the fashion supply chain, APEX3 integrates knit production into one smooth and efficient workflow from yarn development, product planning and design to machine programming, production and even sales promotion. Especially effective is APEX3's capability to improve on the planning process with Virtual Sampling. Photo-realistic simulation capability minimizes the need for sample-making, effectively reducing time, material and cost from the sampling process. APEX3 supports design and simulation in a variety of industries ranging from flat knitting to circular knitting, weaving, pile weaving, printing and more.
