SHIMA SEIKI to Exhibit at Yarmarka Fair

Leading Japanese computerized flat knitting machine manufacturer SHIMA SEIKI MFG., LTD. will exhibit at the upcoming 43rd Federal Trade Fair for Textile and Light Industry Goods and Equipment show ("Yarmarka Fair") in Moscow, Russia.

On display will be SHIMA SEIKI's new SWG061N2 compact WHOLEGARMENT knitting machine that excels in the production of small knitted garments and accessory items in one entire piece without the need for sewing or linking afterward. The SWG-N2 series also features the capability for industrial textiles.

Also on display will be the SDS-ONE APEX3 3D design system demonstrating its role as key to SHIMA SEIKI's "Total Fashion System" concept which integrates all stages of apparel production into one smooth and efficient workflow through comprehensive support of planning and design to production and sales promotion. With ultra-realistic product simulations, APEX3 is also capable of Virtual Sampling that minimizes the costly time- and resource-consuming sample-making process. Products can be checked using 3D simulation as well, such as 3D modeling, 3D fitting and 3D mapping. APEX3 also supports design and simulation in a variety of other industries such as circular knitting, weaving, pile weaving and printing.
