Automatic Spreading Machine with Improved Cost-Performance and User-Friendliness

P-SPR2 is an automatic spreading machine that spreads and stacks fabric to the required length and number of plies before cutting. Spreading is automated for improved work efficiency, as well as significant savings in labor when combined with SHIMA SEIKI's P-CAM automatic cutting machine (NC cutting machine). P-SPR2 features improved ergonomics by concentrating often-used switches in a single, easy-to-reach location, while other operations are performed through a display panel. Knife sharpening, as well as selvedge alignment, are but a few of the features that yield optimum conditions for accurate spreading. Fabric loading is performed with a turndown bucket, which is now at a lower position for easier access while loading heavy bolts of fabric.
