SDS-ONE APEX continues with SHIMA SEIKI's familiar interface consisting of a pressure-sensitive cordless pen and digitizer tablet as well as a trackball unit with duplicate keys for often-used functions. This user-friendly setup allows the simultaneous use of both hands for maximum productivity. Users can choose between a standard trackball unit or 3D trackball unit.
The Work Menu features pre-registered workflow sequences for often used functions, which users can customize on an individual basis. Should the need arise, Online Help is available as a reference aid. The Assistant menu also features easy step-by-step tutorials for several key functions. With an on-board color management system, SDS-ONE APEX offers a uniform colorspace environment from scanner to display monitor and printer for accurate evaluations (Adobe RGB and sRGB supported).
