What is the difference between SPR2 and SPR3?

Far more details which SPR2 cannot provide, like stopping information, can be summarized and grasped with SPR3 whereas the main purpose is to minimize the machine down-time. Moreover, with the system linkage to the corporate system like ERP, SPR3 can help to perform the progress-management on each Sales and Manufacturing Order.

Will SPR2 be carried on for using in future?

The current flat-knitting machines support the SPR2. But for the future model, only SPR3 will be supported.

The sales on the SPR2 was terminated at the end of Dec/2016.

New development on the SPR2 was terminated and will be succeeded by the SPR3.

What knitting machine model supports the SPR3?

A

SSG, SIG, NSSG,NSIG, SCG, NSES122CS,SSR, SVR,SRY,MACH2SIG,MACH2SIR,MACH2X,MACH2S,MACH2XS,FIRST124,FIRST154 and SWG021/041/061/091N2. The support on the knitting machine software will be carried out in sequence. Please contact us for the latest supporting status.

Currently we use SPR2. Can it be upgraded to the SPR3?

A

The existing network infrastructure can be applied but it is necessary to change to the SPR3 server. Moreover, on-line authentication system is used by the SPR3, and it is necessary to enter into new license contract.

In case of changing from SPR2 to SPR3, anything needs to take care?

A

Due to the hardware function issues, SPR3 is not supporting on the SES series (TX type). In case, SES series will be used subsequently, please manage with the SPR2.

Report (in csv format) from the SPR2 is linking with other systems. Will there be any problem if changing to the SPR3?

A

Data details inside the SPR3 reports have been significantly increased. As a result, it is necessary to update the external software which can support the report contents from the SPR3.

Will the Online Monitoring be used on the SPR2?

A

The Cloud-services based Online Monitoring feature is only supported by the SPR3.

Tell me about the SPR3 implementation process.

A

For the SPR3, the implementation is same as the ERP and PLM system that together with the related department in-charge of the customer, implementation consultation will be conducted. Besides, the structure design for the implementation system, inter-linkage with corporate's system, common sharing on SQL server database contents and the implementation schedule etc., will be decided. For the network infrastructure, this shall be left to the customer's IT department to take care. Required software installation and setup procedure will be conducted by our company once the server PC is ready. Upon completion on these setup, customer is required to register the "system-start" online before the system begins to operate.

Is this mandatory to enter into Maintenance Contract?

A

This is optional on joining the Maintenance Contract. Upon joining, various services will be provided at no extra cost and eligible on receiving major software upgrade continuously.

Is there any free-of-charge warranty period?

A

Within the first-year after the system implementation, free-of-charge version upgrade will be provided.

Who will perform the network connection between knitting machine and server and the server PC ordering?

A

The customer or his authorized provider shall be responsible on the network cabling, switch (network hub) installation and the procurement of the server hardware.

What is the Executive User?

A

The user who has the rights to perform centralized management on the situation of multi-factory through the online-monitoring system.

What is the Sub User?

A

This is the additional user who can view the same screen in the online monitoring system as the Main User. Main User can set limit on the viewing range for each Sub User.

What languages are supported?

A

Four languages: Japanese, English, Chinese (Simp. Chinese) and Turkish.

Tell me about conditions on the Maintenance Contract.

A

The Maintenance Contract can be joined during the system implementation. Upon joining, it is eligible to obtain latest software for update at no extra cost and receive various services also free of charge.

Does the product has warranty period?

A

Within the first-year after the system implementation, customer has the rights to get the latest software version at no extra charge.

Tell me about conditions on the Maintenance Contract and version upgrade.

A

Concerning the version upgrade, which is divided into major upgrade mainly on adding new functions and minor upgrade mainly on fixing trivial issues. After the first year (free warranty period), in case of not joining the Maintenance Contract, it will not possible to receive software version upgrade.

In case of increasing the knitting machine connecting to the server, will this cost any initial setup fee?

A

In case new server PC will be setup, fixed amount on initial setup fee is required. If setup of new server is not required and only settings on the knitting machine is required, it does not require much cost. The job quotation which matches the actual job volume will be provided.

In case of increasing the knitting machine connecting to the server, what will happen on the software license?

A

When the number of machines changes and the machine connecting category level is raised, new category price will be charged to the credit card account by next monthly payment.

In case of increasing the knitting machine connecting to the server,
what will happen on the maintenance service fee?

A

When the number of machines changes and the machine connecting category level is raised, the amount difference calculated on the day remain of the current annual contract will be charged.

In case of changing on the selling price condition of the software license, will the current contract change?

A

Under the circumstance that no change on the number of machine, the condition inside the contract shall remain un-change till the end of contract year.

In case the number of server PC is increased due to the increment on knitting machine,
what will happen on the charges?

A

This will require to perform the new server PC setup, software installation and data connection testing either by our company or the partner company - SNC. Under such situation, it will be required to enter initial setup contract and pay on the setup fee for each connecting machine.
