SIP-160F2

On-Demand High-Quality Value-Added Printing.

SHIMA SEIKI’s second-generation textile printing machine SIP-160F2 continues to provide beautiful full color printing on a variety of fabrics, with improvements across the board. SIP-160F2 is available in two configurations, according to printing area: SIP-160F2S features a printing area of 1,600mm x 1,000mm, while the larger SIP-160F2L offers even more flexibility with a wider printing area of 1,600mm x 2,400mm. SIP-160F2L can accommodate large items such as knit dresses and scarves, and support traditional screen-printing methods such as cross-printing as well. Operation is easy through a touch-control monitor, and a CCD camera is available for accurate positioning. Used in conjunction with SDS-ONE APEX3, new software creates a virtual simulation of the printed product for checking the results before printing begins. Users can also use SDS-ONE APEX3 color management system to adjust color and create color profiles. With SIP-160F2, high-quality, value-added printing raises fashion to new heights, while quick and flexible production capability allows on-demand printing.

SUM100 Pretreatment Unit

SUM100 Pretreatment Unit

The SUM100 Pretreatment Unit assures fast and efficient treatment of fabrics for printing on SIPTM-160F2. SUM100 sprays the fabric with a special formula according to fabric type. It prepares the fabric for optimum printing for improved color quality and saturation without bleeding. Spray width, as well as the number of nozzles, can be adjusted according to the size of the fabric for consistent spraying.

SDM100 Drying Unit

SDM100 Drying Unit

The SDM100 Drying Unit permits quick drying of fabrics prepared on the SUM100 Pretreatment Unit. The SDM100 features two tiers for drying, each with its powerful heating unit. For cut and sew panels or shaped pieces, both tiers can be used. For finished products such as WHOLEGARMENT, only the upper tier is used, with the lower heater turned around to face upward, effectively drying both sides of the garment simultaneously.

SSM100 Steamer Unit

SSM100 Steamer Unit

After printing on SIP, the SSM100 Steamer Unit is used to set the ink onto the fabric for maximum color saturation. By circulating steam within the chamber SSM100 assures even steaming and setting among all fabrics. Optimum time and temperature can be set according to fabric type. Even fabrics which are normally vulnerable to heat can be treated with the SSM. Five shelves are available for steaming for better efficiency.
