SHIMA SEIKI MFG., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") has registered the trademark "WHOLEGARMENT" (hereinafter referred to as the "Company's Trademark") worldwide. This is not only for the purpose of promoting the technology which enables the Company to knit an entire piece of knitwear in three dimensions directly on a flat knitting machine (hereinafter referred to as the "Company's Technology") that the Company has cultivated over the years, but also to help our customers' sales activities by differentiating their seam-free knitwear produced on a flat knitting machine using the Company's Technology from similar products.

In order for our customers to legally use the Company's Trademark, it is necessary to sign a "Memorandum of Understanding Concerning WHOLEGARMENT Trademark Usage".
In addition, the Company offers product tags with the Company's Trademark in order to add value to knitwear produced on a flat knitting machine using the Company's Technology. The Company hopes that our customers will take advantage of these tags to their fullest. The Company also has prepared a "Memorandum of Understanding Concerning WHOLEGARMENT Tags" for using WHOLEGARMENT tags.

Please take care to note that unauthorized use of the Company's Trademark without the Company's permission constitutes trademark infringement and may result in liability for damages and injunctive relief. The Company is constantly watchful of the unauthorized use of the Company's Trademark, and will take immediate and appropriate legal action if the Company becomes aware of any unauthorized use. If you wish to use the Company's Trademark, please sign the above memorandum on trademark use. To be sure, the Company does not approve the use of the Company's Trademark for any knitwear knitted on flat knitting machines other than those using the Company's Technology. Flat knitting machine manufacturers other than the Company are not permitted to use the Company's Trademark.

The Company holds many registered trademarks, including the Company's Trademark. In the event that unauthorized use of any of these trademarks is confirmed, the Company will take appropriate legal measure.

The Company will continue to make every effort to protect the Company's intellectual property rights so that our customers can use the Company's products with peace of mind.
