SHIMA SEIKI provides comprehensive training programs at its Total Design Center, where professional trainers support the needs of individual customers.
Our Total Design Center features a specialized training facility that provides a relaxed atmosphere where students can concentrate on their training. Students are free to use the latest apparel design systems and computerized knitting machines. Total Design Center is also equipped with a knit sample showroom where students can check the latest samples and fashion trend information.
From novice to advanced, a variety of training courses are available to suit each student's training needs according to their level of expertise. Original SHIMA SEIKI training materials using visual aids and videos help students deepen their understanding of our products. Training is also available in English, Italian, Chinese and Japanese.
Over the past decade, more than 5,000 customers have taken our training courses. Professional instructors take on the responsibility of helping students master SHIMA SEIKI hardware, software and know-how, so they can take advantage of our products to the highest degree possible.

Before I came to SHIMA SEIKI, I was informed that the training course would be very well organized. But the reality was even better than my expectations. First of all: friendly people everywhere. I was guided from the first until the last minute. The lessons were well structured and prepared, the theory was balanced with practice on SDS and machine. Also, there was always time enough to get all my questions answered.
Besides work and training, hotel and gastronomy were a fine experience. The room had all the necessary features and was always neat and clean. And of course, taste is personal. But for me, the Japanese food was delicious and the SHIMA SEIKI restaurant served daily 5 menus, more than enough to choose from.
I truly believe that taking a course at SHIMA SEIKI is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. So if you are a knitwear technician and you get the opportunity to study there, don't think twice!
