SHIMA SEIKI's SDS-ONE APEX can be used to produce colorways in single-color, gradation, shading as well as full-color. In addition to highly efficient color specification using the built-in PANTONE database and chromatometer, the automatic colorway feature can instantly produce a variety of color schemes for evaluation under a given theme or other requirement. SDS-ONE APEX is also equipped with various pattern production tools for planning and creating original designs. Comprehensive support is available, from pattern production, repeats and colorways as well as color separation and fabric production, to product simulation and sales promotion. This is an optimal design system for all types of print applications for apparel, including textile converters, print manufacturers, dyeing factories, planning companies, OEM and ODM manufacturers, trade firms, innerwear manufacturers, interior designers, towel manufacturers and sundry goods manufacturers.

Repeats
Types of repeats such as full- and stepped-repeat can be displayed in repeated mode, so you can confirm the entire image on screen. In addition, the abundant pattern tools listed at left can be used in repeat mode for confirming the resulting pattern over the entire repeated image.
Color Compression
Colors can be reduced to a specified number of colors while maintaining such characteristics as solid, gradation, blur or full-color. It is possible to adjust the color range, as well as to add and combine colors as well.
Cleaning
Noise left behind after Color Compression can be cleaned up effectively by using the auto noise cleaning function or by erasing by hand using masks on specified colors.
Colorways
Color evaluation can be performed with colors selected from the color menu or the Pantone color guide. Colors can also be directly input through the spectrophotometer. Auto Colorway function creates colorways by sampling colors randomly from a given image such as conceptual story boards, magazine pages and beautiful scenery photos. It enables you to easily create colorway variations according to design theme and concept.
Product Image
Simulated or scanned fabric can be draped onto photos or illustrations of garments for checking the final product image. By inputting garment size, the fabric size is automatically adjusted for accurate evaluation.
PSD file Compatibility
PSD files with layers can be imported and exported. (Note: Some attributes may not be supported depending on the data)
